Timothy Acker

Tim Acker joined BioSonics as a member of the Board of Directors in January 1998 and took over as President and Chief Executive Officer in November 1998. He earned his Geosciences Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington. In his eight years at BioSonics, Tim has completely transformed the working environment into a tightly run, efficient family of skilled and motivated employees. In addition to strengthening and growing BioSonics' core scientific echosounder business, Tim has launched several government funded product development programs to further grow the company in the areas of aquaculture and Homeland Security.
