Calibration and Repair Services of Echosounder Systems
Calibration Service
In order to obtain accurate and repeatable quantitative measurements of fish and other aquatic resources, proper and periodic calibration of your echosounder system is necessary when using hydroacoustic techniques such as echo integration and target tracking.
We offer calibration of BioSonics scientific echosounder systems using a reference-standard transducer in our hydroacoustic calibration facility. We provide our clients with the calibration results, which include: Source Level (SL), Receive Sensitivity (RS), transducer beam pattern (i.e., circular or elliptical) and side-lobe characteristics.
Repair Service
The BioSonics service and repair team aims to provide prompt, reliable repair services for our clients. We maintain an inventory of system components to allow for quick turnaround time on all echosounder repairs. We also maintain a complete inventory of rental echosounder system components, which can be quickly configured and shipped to our clients to prevent costly project down-time.
Warranty Service
BioSonics’ products are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from date of purchase. BioSonics’ standard warranty includes repair of any such defect when the equipment is properly shipped prepaid to BioSonics for warranty service.
